Victory Church: Paul Daugherty · Victory Church

BEING EFFECTIVE AGAINST A SPIRIT OF DARKNESS | PASTOR ASHLEY DAUGHERTY

·49 min·4 clips
Pastor Ashley Daugherty leads a worldwide shout to Jesus, declaring victory over every demon in hell.
The room starts with praise. Pastor Ashley Daugherty is welcomed as co-pastor of Victory Church, then turns a Victory College moment into a shared declaration of Jesus' name. She keeps the point direct: there is no power in her name, but every demon in hell heard the church lift up Jesus. From there, the message moves into surrender. Spiritual effectiveness against darkness is not framed as volume, confidence, or religious talk from a platform. Trust is the fight. She calls listeners to stop leaning so hard on their own logic and to acknowledge God in the way they were uniquely made. Identity gets handled with care, but not softly. She speaks to the confusion people carry around gender, personality, family, birthplace, and calling, then asks for surrender. To be a living sacrifice, believers have to give up their own understanding and trust their creator with the hidden parts of the heart. God knew before anyone else knew. The sermon keeps returning to that claim: God knew each person's name, body, assignment, family, location, and future. That is where the conviction lands. Comparison, rationalizing, and partial acceptance can freeze people who are meant to move forward in purpose. The prayer tone is plain and urgent. God is asked to awaken people to their uniqueness, their age, their gifts, and their place in jobs, families, communities, and nations. The closing prayer asks God to make his people effective soldiers who do more than create wounds: they demolish demonic activity against themselves and others. It all comes back to Jesus, surrender, and daily purpose in God's kingdom work.
