Rain gets one day. Graham and Dave are already telling it to move along, then catching themselves because the planet probably needs it. Fog sounds better anyway, mostly because someone could hide in it and scare somebody Ellen-style. That is the lane. A weather gripe turns into a footrest ambush, then into the half-serious idea that maybe Ellen was secretly nice. The pace keeps bouncing. Nobody stays on one thought for long before another tiny premise wanders in and gets dressed up. Hockey takes over later. The guest works through the grim little pleasure of wanting a team to lose now so it can get good later. Dave has taught the logic: be bad, stockpile picks, stop clinging to the middle, and maybe the crowd gets rewarded someday. Pride Night changes the room. Suddenly hockey is big, hockey is gay, and everyone sounds more alive than the standings. A fake-team jersey appears. That sends them into the fake team, the thing itself, and the specific comedy of studying a scene while missing the obvious part. They keep it playful. The bit is less about shock than everyone admitting where their eyes went, then politely overexplaining the camera work. The ending stays loose. Private tastes are welcomed, teased, and gently advised to maybe stay private unless they belong in a will. It is messy in the right way. A rain opener, a hockey spiral, and a final little wave to the oddballs somehow all fit.
