2026 ISHOF Class Revealed – Nathan Adrian, Laszlo Cseh & More!

·29 min
It opens loose. The hosts are back on deck with Women's NCAA week in view, and they make sure D2 NCAAs get the extra love their D2 friends have been asking for in DMs. Meet Mobile takes a hit next. They joke about getting billed for years without noticing, which turns into a pretty funny confession about how long it has been since they seriously checked a swim result. Then the room widens. They start talking about how basketball-style branded camps work, and why swimming does not really have an equivalent, before tossing out the idea of something like a Michael Phelps butterfly camp or a Ryan Murphy backstroke camp that would gather the top kids in one place. That is the joke and the premise. The point is the sport could use more of that camp-style structure, at least in theory. The clock shows up next. They complain, half serious and half amused, that they keep getting trapped in 40-minute, seven-topic podcasts that were supposed to be closer to an hour total, because seven topics do not fit neatly into a perfect rundown. Super producer Nate gets the credit for knowing how to squeeze the show dry without making it feel squeezed, which is the kind of compliment that only makes sense inside a long-running duo format. The pace stays jagged, and that tension between loose banter and a cleaner structure is basically the engine of the show. Then the Hall of Fame talk lands. The hosts turn to the new International Swimming Hall of Fame class and treat the inductees like people who deserve more ceremony than swimming usually gives them. Jackets enter the chat. They joke about gold jackets, blue aquarium jackets, plaques, and whether a blazer would be more fitting. It closes as a salute, with the usual mix of reverence, teasing, and insider irritation that makes the show feel like it is arguing for the sport even while laughing at it.

As heard by us

A loose swim rant that still lands real respect for the sport.

The episode moves quickly, with Women's NCAA week, a nod to D2 swimmers, a Meet Mobile billing joke, and a larger gripe about how swimming sells its own talent. The banter gets messy at times, but the point stays visible underneath it.
