#PodcastFaro

#PodcastFaro is a UD Las Palmas fan tertulia with the volume left on and the transitions left rough. That is part of the point. The show feels less like a formal program than a familiar table where the same yellow arguments keep returning because nobody is finished with them. A preview against Granada can become a conversation about stadium experience, club detachment, cantera, and what supporters are really buying when they go to football. A Málaga episode can swing from retro kits and old references into bench management, player confidence, and whether a forward simply needs minutes. It likes the football details. It also likes the mess around them. The panel talks formations, possession, pressing, balance, Almería’s possible block, Córdoba anxiety, and the difference between a player being green and a player never being allowed to grow. Then someone reads the chat, someone makes a joke, someone corrects a name, and the whole thing changes direction. The live audience is not decoration; it pushes the program around. There are rituals, too: efemérides with Don Francisco, repeated yellow chants, weekend send-offs, and the constant sense that Monday and Thursday belong to the same shared habit. The show can be sharp about the club. It can also be tender about the islands, the shirt, the stadium, and the long memory of being amarillo. Its humor is local and quick. Its arguments can be impatient, but they rarely feel cold. #PodcastFaro works because it treats UD Las Palmas as sport, community, irritation, identity, and weekend weather all at once. The result is chaotic, affectionate, and deeply lived-in.
