The Curse of Sherlee Johnson with the super team Jonathan Glapion & Daniel Henriques

February 22, 2026·1 hr 36 min·3 clips
The character he thinks is God is actually the villain possessing him.
The video even starts a little crooked. The host says the opening did not fire, then drops into the room with Mark, Daniel Enriquez, and Jonathan Glapion like everyone already knows the rhythm. Issue four has been delayed, and the delay gives the conversation some extra charge because the host comes in hot. This is his favorite chapter so far, mostly because there is so much happening on the page and the art and story are starting to click together. First, they catch up. Daniel and Jonathan are working, getting ahead on future issues, and still talking about the ice storm that knocked out power and sent them to an Airbnb. It does not feel like a detour. Dogs, cold houses, neighbors without power, and deadlines all belong to the same working creator mess, so the room just rolls with it. Then the comics talk takes over. Spawn comes up, with Angels and another artist landing high on the personal favorites list, while Medina gets some overdue love for that run. The host wants a commission, which opens the door to favorite artists, covers that never happened, and how access changes when someone starts winning major awards. Gigi Cabanego becomes the dream pull. Daniel spent time with him at a show, liked him, and found him easy to talk to, so suddenly the hoped for cover feels a little less impossible. Everybody wants it. They do get back to the issue. The battle sequence matters, but the ending points beyond the action. Simon, Shirley, and the incoming setup make the first arc feel like a survival run. The next part is where the character work can really start. The host closes warm, thanks Daniel, Jonathan, and Mark, and keeps the same playful livestream feel right to the end.

As heard by us

A lively issue-four chat that keeps the art and action front and center.

World at War Comics spends issue four on the battle itself, with the Simon and Shirley beats and the moment Crimson is curb-stomping Sherlee Johnson given the most attention.
