Uncle Eric presents a remastered 1938 episode of The Shadow radio drama titled 'The Hospital Murders', starring Orson Welles as Lamont Cranston / The Shadow. In Cairo, Egypt, patients are vanishing from Cairo General Hospital. Cranston and Margot Lane go undercover to investigate — Lane poses as a patient as decoy — only to discover the hospital's board chairman, Kruger, is kidnapping patients to conduct gruesome flesh-grafting experiments, hoping to replace his amputated leg. The Shadow uses hypnosis to expose Kruger, who is killed in the resulting fire. The episode preserves original 1938 Goodrich Silvertown tire commercials for authenticity.
