7pm gives the hour a clean frame. Jordan Robinson and Rob Mahoney open with Emma, Ogilvie, Monica, and the emergency department floor, then get into what bugged them most. The talk stays loose but pointed. Noel Hastings takes the brunt of it. Across the season, she has felt more useful than alive as a character. Jordan wanted the show to do something with her. Instead, Noel mostly reads as the person who explains hospital billing and policy. Useful, sure. Thin, too. Rob is mostly with her. He understands why The Pitt puts Noel near Robbie, especially since she knows pieces of his life outside the ED. If someone who knows how he sleeps is worried about him, that should hit harder. But it still does not quite happen. The hosts keep circling the same problem: Noel shows up, flirts, passes along information, and leaves before the dynamic deepens. The Robbie connection does not land. Dana also misses the counterpoint Jordan seemed to be waiting for. They are fair about it, though. Ogilvie gets a different kind of pass, because a disliked character can still have a clear job in the season. That is the line for them. The character does not have to be lovable. The purpose has to click. By the end, the mood warms up. They perk up at the specialist energy, the heavy hitters arriving, and the fun of picturing The Pitt grinding through more shifts.
