Melt Up Incoming

·32 min·3 clips
I just returned from Syria for the first time in 20 years and I'm extremely bullish on the country.
The host opens with a greeting and says he has just returned from Syria after 20 years away. He describes the trip as a business visit and says he was scouting opportunities for Hadal Alpha clients. He talks about walking around Damascus at night and says he felt secure and safe. He frames Syria as a country he is very bullish on over a 10-year horizon, arguing that people often miss how much can change over a decade. He then shifts to market nerves, especially in crypto. Stocks, he says, have held up fairly well, while crypto has taken a scare. He tells listeners that the recent drop is not necessarily a reason to panic. He argues that a melt-up has not happened yet, but he expects one, and notes that melt-ups are usually followed by melt-downs, so selling into strength can make sense. He then points to a JP Morgan price prediction based on Bitcoin's relationship to gold. He says gold usually moves first and Bitcoin follows with a delay, and cites a graph that would put Bitcoin around $165K by the end of the year if the pattern holds. He does not treat that number as certain, but says the relationship still makes logical sense and that gold's recent strength supports the case for a Bitcoin move higher. He says the real hurdle may be the government shutdown. He moves to Tesla and notes its highest weekly close ever. He says the stock still has plenty of upside and that 2026 should be an amazing year for Tesla. He points to the Robotaxi experiment as evidence, describing the vehicles as money printers on wheels. He suggests that even current levels could look cheap in hindsight over a long enough window. He reminds listeners that this is not financial advice and plugs PIF, saying the portfolios have done well. He then turns to what he calls his favorite part of the livestream: viewer questions and interactions. He offers Jumu'ah greetings, thanks the audience, and closes by asking people to like the live and join the Sunday PIF meeting.
