Will Bitcoin Skyrocket When Iran War Ends? | Anthony Pompliano

April 8, 2026·19 min·1 clip
Why is Bitcoin still green when stocks, gold, and bonds are all falling during the Iran conflict?
Bitcoin is the exception. He starts with the messy backdrop: assets under pressure, oil spiking, inflation fears rising, and plenty of people wondering why Bitcoin is still holding green. Then he moves to the buyer side. Bitcoin Archive says long-term holders have bought 308,000 Bitcoin, and he treats that as the bid underneath the market. In his view, that matters more than mood. If committed buyers keep taking supply, Bitcoin can find a floor while geopolitical fear hits almost everything else. Binance gets used as the scorecard. He says Bitcoin and Ethereum are both positive in single digits through 32 days of conflict, while the S&P, MAG7, semiconductors, and gold are down hard. Then the segment tightens around DaVinci Jeremy's Bitcoin-only point. Grayscale's tracked top-crypto list keeps changing, but Bitcoin has held the number one slot for eight straight years. XRP, Ethereum, Cardano, Litecoin, Solana, Tron, and Hyperliquid are cast as churn around the one asset he thinks does not have a real rival. There is no second best. That is the emotional center here, and he leans into the Bitcoin-versus-everything-else frame without much hesitation. Jordy Visser gives him the macro setup. The comparison is the 1970s versus now, with debt-to-GDP moving from roughly 30 to 35 percent then to around 120 percent today. Equity markets are larger too, so his point is that policymakers have less room than they say because the system is more levered and more tied to markets. The close gets louder: long-term accumulators are back, Morgan Stanley is treated as a coming ETF distribution force, and Bitcoin is framed as an N-of-one asset. The bet is blunt. Critics can wait for another bear market, but he thinks undisciplined monetary policy keeps feeding the long Bitcoin case.

As heard by us

A brisk Bitcoin bull case built on market strain, accumulation, and macro pressure.

This episode treats Bitcoin as a live stress test for the wider market. Stocks, gold, bonds, and oil are all under pressure, yet Bitcoin stays green, and the argument ties that resilience to long-term holders who have bought 308,000 Bitcoin and may be helping set a floor.
