February 17, 2026·14 min·1 clip

FreeDesktop.org has openly stated their goal is to kill X.Org and force adoption of Wayland.

The episode discusses X.Org's controversial decision to abandon its master branch for 'main', discarding nearly two years of code changes. The host argues this move is politically motivated, aimed at distancing from X.Libre's successful fork and aligning with FreeDesktop.org's goal to kill X.Org in favor of Wayland.
