On November 17, 2019, 26-year-old Marshall Iwasa left his mother's house in Lethbridge, Alberta, to retrieve items from a storage unit. He was never seen again. Six days later, hikers discovered his burned-out truck 700 miles away in remote British Columbia wilderness—in an area Marshall had no known connections to. His vehicle lacked a steering column, contained items that didn't belong to him, and showed signs of arson. Most critically, Marshall's bank account showed zero activity after November 15, yet he somehow drove 700 miles through remote terrain. Police classified it as possible suicide rather than foul play, restricting investigative resources. The family's private detective found evidence the police missed, including proof of arson and a discarded lighter. Marshall remains missing; multiple personal items were never recovered.
