Wesley has never taken a bath. Not a regular bath, not a bubble bath, not a shower, and not even a bird bath. From the time he was a baby, he wanted nothing to do with water. He would scream, thrash, and make bath time feel impossible before it even got started. As a toddler, he fought so hard that one bath-time struggle ended with a towel rack ripped off the wall, a pipe cracked behind the toilet, and water spraying everywhere. His parents were soaked, but Wesley got away dry. After that, they kept trying to make bath time more exciting. They even came up with a bath-police idea, complete with gentle washing gear, a no-tears shampoo, and a promise that he would be home smelling like a bouquet of roses. Then the bath police set off after him in a zippy three-person rubber-ducky vehicle on wheels. Wesley treated the whole thing like a game and added extra flair whenever he could. He climbed over a parked car instead of running around it. He swung under a clothesline and flung himself through the air. He even shouted his way across an empty parking lot like he was in some ridiculous race. The officers closed in, and one finally aimed a sprayer. Wesley darted in front of an older woman walking on the sidewalk, and she got hit instead. By the end, everyone was smiling, because they were just glad to know Wesley was going home to have a bath. The final joke suggests the brush he used to wash his skin may have been the toilet brush. The episode closes with a question of the week about something people avoid even when it might be good for them, plus listener shoutouts.
