Reviewing the NY Jets Draft options with analyst Dylan Tereman

March 25, 2026·43 min·4 clips
Analyst Dylan Tereman explains why the Titans might trade up for Jeremiah Love, forcing the Jets to decide between three elite edge rushers.
March 25th turns the draft clock on. Tyson brings in Dylan with the Jets about a month from the NFL draft, and the conversation becomes a practical check of the board. The nostalgia part has a point. Dylan likes the show intro because it brings back old Jets memories, and Tyson answers with the obvious problem: recent teams have not left many highlights to work with. From there, the standard is pretty simple. Nobody is pretending there is one perfect plan. The Jets just need to know what they are buying with premium picks and stop making the board harder than it has to be. Defense drives the first half. With Aaron Glenn coming in as a defensive-minded head coach, taking a future quarterback of the defense at pick two sounds plausible, though not locked in. Sonny Stiles gets the strongest case. Dylan thinks Stiles fits better than forcing Arvel Reese into an off-ball linebacker job, especially because Stiles can cover, run sideline to sideline, blitz, and spy. Pick two is still pick two, though. Dylan sees the logic and would not be mad, but if the board is wide open, he still has Stiles fourth or fifth. Pick 16 gets more urgent. Tyson wants a wide receiver there because one Garrett Wilson injury could wreck the offense fast. The receiver board is messy, with Carnell Tate, Makai Lemon, Jordan Tyson, and Omar Cooper moving around depending on whose rankings you trust. The big swing is whether quarterbacks go early and leave one of the better receiver tiers available. The ending feels very Jets: Tyson is already bracing for the post-draft overreaction show, and Dylan says he can talk him down from almost anything unless Carson Beck is involved.

As heard by us

A Jets draft conversation that turns roster questions into practical decisions.

March turns the Jets talk into a draft board pressure test. Tyson and Dylan work through the questions hanging over the roster: what makes sense at two, what still matters at 16, and where the team can afford to stay stubborn.
