Episodio 1058 - A LOS PIES DEL MAESTRO

·21 min·2 clips

A priest invites you to celebrate Christ's resurrection and join a 50-day journey through the Acts of the Apostles.

The episode begins with the host, a priest, joyfully celebrating Easter and Christ's resurrection. He invites listeners to a 50-day journey through the Book of Acts during the Easter season. The host explains that Acts is the continuation of the Gospel of Luke, both written by Luke, a doctor and simple writer aiming for new Christians. He shares a personal anecdote about his Bible, the 'Bible of the pilgrim' by Luis Alonso Chekel, gifted after his ordination. The host details how Luke's Gospel ends with Jesus' ascension and Acts begins with the promise of the Holy Spirit. He describes the two painful partings for the disciples: Jesus' death and ascension, healed by the Holy Spirit's coming. The episode covers Acts chapter 1, including Peter's speech and the selection of Matthias to replace Judas. A Gospel reading from Luke 24 follows, where Jesus appears to the disciples, shows his wounds, eats fish, and explains scripture. The host emphasizes that Jesus dispels doubts through scripture, not theories. He concludes by blessing listeners and encouraging them to configure their lives with Christ during Easter.
