Dan fact-checks Alex Jones' claim that Omarska was a food depot by pointing to ITV footage and a mass execution.
The cold open is pure ritual static. Dan and Jordan go from bright-spot banter into the usual business of sitting around and talking about Alex Jones, with the topic taking its time getting there. Then the Balkans show up. Alex has a Senate-report-shaped story where the CIA, Al-Qaeda, school attacks, Slobodan Milosevic, Kosovo, and the KLA all get shoved into one tidy chain. Dan slows it down before the whole thing runs off the road. The basic correction does a lot of work: the Kosovo War and the Bosnian War are not the same thing, and the Time Magazine cover Alex was mad about belongs on the Bosnia side of the timeline. Jordan admits the region is daunting, which becomes part of the point. Acting like partial knowledge is expertise is exactly the kind of confidence the show is picking apart. The KLA gets placed with care. Dan describes it as an Albanian separatist group tied to Kosovo, then notes that Kosovo was a territory within Serbia during the 1998 to 1999 war. That distinction matters. If Alex wants to defend Milosevic's actions in Kosovo as state control over a territory, Dan says the argument would still be wrong, but at least it would be pointed at the right conflict. Bosnia is different. It was a neighboring country, it came earlier, and sliding it into the Kosovo frame turns Alex's version into chronology soup. Jordan does not pretend he has mastered it. He says the more he learns, the clearer it gets that really learning the story would take serious work. That humility lands harder than a lecture. The episode works because a grand conspiracy claim keeps getting tested against dates, places, and whether the wars even line up. By the end, Milosevic's death is sitting weirdly close to the picked date. Dan and Jordan seem almost surprised by that, then move toward Alex's later Slobo takes and present-day Epstein material. The sendoff stays silly anyway: sex robots, borrowed signoff names, Andy in Kansas, and affectionate nonsense after a dense stretch of geopolitical cleanup.

As heard by us

A sharp old-Alex segment where Balkan war claims run into timeline checks, caveats, and steady comic disbelief.

Knowledge Fight drops into Alex Jones's March 13, 2006 broadcast and finds him treating Balkan war history like a prop: Milosevic becomes "Slobo," Kosovo and Bosnia blur together, and claims about the KLA, al-Qaeda, CIA funding, and a Senate report pile up faster than the…

Why you'd press play

Somebody had to check Alex Jones's Slobodan Milosevic take against an actual Senate report. These two did.
