Ready Or Not 2: Here I Come Review with New Co-Host Mikayla!

March 25, 2026·1 hr 14 min·6 clips
Mikayla hosts her first full episode as the new permanent co-host of Horror Movie Talk.
Mikayla starts as the new voice at the table. The show makes her promotion official right away, with Bryce saying the fit felt obvious after auditions and her chemistry with Max. Sweet, for about a breath. Then Horror Movie Talk does what it does: a movie about sibling love and hate turns into a deeply uncomfortable side road. The review does keep a spine. Mikayla tries to get back to Samara Weaving and the film's intense sibling dynamic, especially through the eyes of an only child. Max and Bryce keep knocking that clean read off balance. One phrase becomes a riff about family boundaries, hypothetical clones, and why close siblings can look weird to everyone else. It gets messy fast. This is not polished panel chat. It is interruption, correction, escalation, then someone remembering there is a movie review under all of it. That mess fits the handoff. Mikayla is not treated like a guest getting a careful welcome. She is treated like someone already responsible for steering the room while the room refuses to be steered. The movie talk keeps poking through. They circle sibling attachment, intensity, and the way horror can make normal family closeness seem suspicious or theatrical. Samara Weaving is the reset button. When the bit wanders too far, her performance and the sibling relationship give Mikayla a clean road back. The ending stays loose: a remembered Arrested Development bit about a gay magician, recurring jokes, then Mikayla taking the outro. Her goodbye is casual, a little unsure, and pretty much the right kind of awkward for her first real handoff.
