Ep 376 " Critically with a long show"

October 2, 2025·1 hr 26 min·2 clips
It opens mid-chaos. One of them is stretching his ears for a bigger gauge, everybody is talking over him, and the whole thing starts like a call already in progress instead of a clean intro. Bluey gets dragged in, which turns into a quick side-rant about who has seen it and who likes it, before the room swings back to sports. Then the NFL takes over. The Texans-Titans game gets the first real run, with the panel saying Houston's offense finally got going while still calling out the offensive line as not being a cohesive unit yet. Joe Mixon comes up as a help piece, but the line is still a problem. Nobody is being polite. Houston fans catch heat, and the segment has the feel of people who know enough ball to get irritated when the team only starts looking competent after the first couple of quarters. The Eagles-Buccaneers game comes next. The crew says Tampa Bay would have won if the game had been played anywhere else, points to bad calls on both sides, and zeroes in on the weird clock sequence that seemed to cost the Bucs precious seconds in the fourth. Baker gets credit. They say he was bringing Tampa back and had a chance to beat Philadelphia before the interception shut the door, which makes the whole thing feel like a game that got away. Philly does not escape the argument. The panel says people were already crowning the Eagles as the next dynasty, then pushes back with questions about A.J. Brown not getting enough targets, Saquon Barkley being held in check, and Jalen Hurts doing enough without quieting every complaint. The close stays in the same messy house style, with sponsor-name jokes and sign-off banter carrying it out in the same rough, familiar rhythm it started with.

As heard by us

A messy sports hangout that turns chaos into sharp NFL chatter.

This episode is a noisy, familiar hangout that starts with ear-stretching nonsense and a Bluey detour before settling into blunt football talk about the Texans, Titans, Eagles, and Buccaneers.
