Ed the Sock confesses he's been misdating his on-demand shows and explains his unusual calendar logic.

Ed opens with housekeeping. He has been putting the wrong date on the on-demand shows, which seems to bother exactly one person: the guy doing it late at night. Fair. The fix turns into a small rant about Wednesday, Thursday, sunrise, and the private little annoyances that keep radio people awake. SCTV gets pulled in too. After that, the show drifts into its usual loose rock-station lane, where a streaming-service note can sit right beside late-call cleanup. The interview has some bite. Ed and the guest joke about being an idiot with wisdom, then poke at whether wisdom has anything to do with power. Nice swerve. Ed reminds him that his songs still run on 94.9 The Rock every day, as if radio rotation still deserves a little ceremony. Then Ed ranks the classics. He prefers Slide to Iris, and the guest agrees without making it a big confession. Good. The better part comes when they talk about the guest's new work and the relief of not measuring every song against charts, streams, and old hit-machine panic. He likes the songs. He would not put them out otherwise. He also knows the core audience may mostly want the older stuff, which is the grown-up part. If newer tracks reach a few people outside that base, fine. The old pressure sounds mostly gone. Streaming helps there. He can release a few songs at his own pace instead of forcing a full album through the old system. Ed closes fast. Calls have stacked up, Thelma gets her goodbye, Schwasquatch artwork turns into contest business, and the porch light goes off before sunrise.
